The Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM) administers maintenance programs for the following City and County of Honolulu facilities:
- City Buildings and Office Facilities
- City Vehicles and Heavy Equipment (excluding certain vehicles and equipment within the Honolulu Police Department, Honolulu Fire Department and Honolulu Board of Water Supply)
- Bridges
- Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Equipment for Parks
- Facilities for parks
- Streetlights
- Traffic Signs and Markings
- Streams
- Flood Control Systems
DFM also provides the following
services for City and County of Honolulu
properties and agencies:
- Parking Garage Management
- Security
- Interdepartmental Mail Services
- Heavy Vehicle and Heavy Equipment Training Support
