Hiring Events
The WorkHawaiʻi Division hosts regular Hiring Events throughout the year, welcoming both job seekers and employers at no cost. Events provide the opportunity to make one-on-one connection with eager, qualified candidates.
On-the-Job Training
With On-the-Job Training, employers can save money training their new and promoted fulltime employees, easing the financial burden of elevating their workforce. The WorkHawaiʻi Division, through the use of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act, will provide up to 50% of the employee’s hourly wages for the duration of the training period of up to six months.
Internships
The WorkHawai’i Division offers internship placement assistance, partnering with eligible employers to grow their workforce at no cost to them. Interns placed with employers are paid an hourly stipend by the WorkHawaiʻi Division for a period of up to six months, without the obligation to hire at the conclusion of the internship.
