DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the general supervision of the Work Program Coordinator, this position will perform a variety of selected assignments relating to the administrative duties and operational functions of the Work Program section; and perform other related duties as required. Duties and responsibilities include:

 

  1. Assists with organizing and reviewing of work requests to identify projects that are to be included in the work program section.
  2. Assists with island wide site visits and inspections of work and budget requests to determine the scope of work and vendor construction quotes; attends pre, periodic and final inspections for projects that are contracted and submits appropriate reports.
  3. Assists with the maintenance of records and files of completed projects; tracks cost of projects as well as annual work program budget.
  4. Assists with the maintenance of warranty records of contracts and equipment purchased in a centralized record control system.
  5. Assists with the review of plans and quotes for compliance with the master agreement specifications and desired project scope of work.
  6. Prepares and submits quotes, plans, drawings, electronic form purchasing requests and other documents for procurement processing.
  7. Assists in the preparation of Independent Construction Estimates (ICE) and feasibility studies as required.
  8. Attends meetings, trainings and other project events as required.
  9. Assists with the preparation and reviews of the operating and project budgets management, expenditure schedules, work program projections and other budgetary reports.
  10. Performs other related duties as directed.
