B. Consideration of establishing a Permitted Interaction Group (PIG) to support the Survey Committee per the Office of Information Practices (OIP) Investigative requirements
C. Neighborhood Commission Survey – Members of the Commission’s Survey Committee shall review, discuss and make recommendations to the Survey Committee’s Commission Survey for final annotation prior to presentation to full Commission for acceptance consideration.

A. Next Meeting – The next regular meeting of the Neighborhood Commission is scheduled for Monday, November 25, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. on Webex, and at Kapālama Hale.

I. CALL TO ORDER – [0:00:01]: Committee Chair Melendrez called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.
Committee Members Present: Steven Melendrez and Richard Oshiro.
Committee Members Absent: Mahealani Bernal, Jon Ching, and Claire Tamamoto.
Guests: Larry Veray (Neighborhood Commission); Executive Secretary Lloyd Yonenaka, Dylan Whitsell, Travis Saito and Dylan Buck (Neighborhood Commission Office – NCO). There were 7 total attendees. Name not included if not legible on sign-in sheet, not signed in and/or not participated in discussion.

III. APPROVAL OF COMMITTEE MINUTES – [0:02:42]
Monday, June 10, 2024 Written Summary for Video Record – [0:02:42]: [0:03:24] – Hearing no objections or abstentions, the Written Summary for Video Record was approved as written.
IV. UNFINISHED BUSINESS – [0:03:45]
Neighborhood Commission Survey – [0:03:45]: Committee Chair Melendrez presented the most recent version of the draft survey, which includes an updated cover letter explaining that over 110 questions and thoughtful statements from Board Members have been received by Committee Chair Melendrez. Due to the quantity and complexity of the responses, Committee Chair Melendrez recommended that a Permitted Interaction Group (PIG) be formed to amend the current draft survey, determine the electronic tool that will be used to disseminate the survey, and to determine the final schedule to proceed, complete, and release the survey. No action was taken to establish a PIG as quorum was not achieved during the meeting.

Next Meeting – [0:27:40]: There was discussion of scheduling the next committee meeting on Monday, October 14, 2024. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 28, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Kapālama Hale Conference Room 153 and virtually via Webex.
