HONOLULU – Mayor Rick Blangiardi is proud to announce that Honolulu Hale and the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena will be illuminated in blue from sunset on Sunday, April 13, 2025, through sunrise on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in celebration of Make-A-Wish Hawaii and World Wish Month.
Each April, World Wish Month highlights the life-changing power of wishes granted to children with critical illnesses. Make-A-Wish Hawaii, with the support of its generous partners and community, continues to inspire hope, strength, and joy in the lives of wish children and their families across the state.
“This symbolic gesture is our way of standing with these incredible kids and their families in recognizing the profound impact a granted wish can have on their lives,” said Mayor Rick Blangiardi. “We are honored to support Make-A-Wish Hawaii and reaffirm our commitment to bringing hope to keiki in need.”
The illumination of two of Honolulu’s most iconic landmarks serves as a visible sign of solidarity and support for local wish families and a reminder of the compassionate community working together to make wishes come true.
