Get ready for a free family event in Waipahū for Halloween weekend! Hō‘ae‘ae Community Park will host its “Trunk or Treat” event on Friday, October 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Not only is the event free and open to the entire ‘ohana, but there’ll be free candy for the keiki and a pumpkin carving contest! You can enter the pumpkin carving contest by pre-registering online at pros.hnl.info in the “Activities” section. One pre-carved entry per ‘ohana, with winners in each of the categories: scariest, cutest, and most creative pumpkin!
As a result of this free community event, Hō‘ae‘ae Community Park’s parking lot will be closed ahead the event. Signs will be posted alerting the public, and we are coordinating with the nearby school to make sure all is well. It’s gonna be scary good! Public comment and conversations from these messages are not regularly monitored.
