III. COMMITTEE BUSINESS
A. AG COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING ON AG LOTS ON NOVEMBER 22, 2025 : Chair Achiu provided a summary of the Special Meeting that the Ag Committee hosted for CPR AG Lots on the North Shore. This meeting was coordinated in response to Neighborhood Board meeting attendees sharing concerns with the status of agricultural lots in MAHIKO Farms. Mahiko Farms is a proposed Ag Lot Project by developer David Taogoshi. In response to concerns shared by tenants of MAHIKO Farms this special meeting was held to provide information on CPR Lot process and Zoning. Special Guests in attendance at the Special Meeting were, Dayton Choy of the Real Estate Commission and DPP Director Apuna. Overall MAHIKO Farms was never CPR’d. The property remains one whole lot and subject to existing zoning. Considering the developers estate being in probate the tenants must await resolution of Mr Taosoghis estate to move forward. Meanwhile Zoning restrictions remain in place.
B. Chair Achiu shared recent discussions with Senator Richards regarding AG Crime Bill to address penaties and enforcement of the continued and growing violations against Ranchers and Farmers. Once Bills are forwarded to Racquel she will share with committee members.
