HONOLULU – The City and County of Honolulu’s Departments of Transportation Services (DTS) and Design and Construction (DDC) advise motorists of new lane changes at the Punchbowl Street and Bishop Street intersections with South King Street.
On the evening of Tuesday, February 4, the City’s contractor began restriping traffic lanes to improve flow and safety at these busy intersections. These lane modifications, part of the ongoing downtown roadway resurfacing and rehabilitation project, were implemented with new striping while construction continues.
Street parking on Punchbowl remains unaffected.
The City reminds folks to drive with caution and travel with aloha.
