Kākou (all of us) for our Parks!

Since 2015, the Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation has utilized this program to focus on improving and revitalizing some of our most heavily-used, aging, or damaged facilities. These include our playgrounds, comfort stations (bathroom buildings), and outdoor play courts. With the increased popularity of pickleball, this program expanded to include repurposing existing courts to accommodate this growing user group. We encourage you to continue visiting this page to see which facilities we have recently improved, and which ones will be next!
