Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given of an in-person and remote public hearing meeting to be held by the Director of the Department of Human Resources (“Director” and “DHR”), City and County of Honolulu (“City”), on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fasi Municipal Building (650 South King Street), 10th Floor Large Conference Room, to consider proposed amendments to the administrative rules of the Department of Human Resources, Civil Service Rules, Rules of the Director, Chapter 3, Filling Positions in the Civil Service, Subchapter 3, Examination, and Subchapter 4, Certification. This notice is provided pursuant to Section 91-3, Procedure for adoption, amendment, or repeal of rules, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 13-106, Revised Charter of the City and County of Honolulu, and Civil Service Rule Section 2-11(e).

Civil Service Commission
The Civil Service Commission is administratively attached to the Department of Human Resources and primarily functions to prescribe rules to carry out the provisions of the City Charter, hear appeals, and advise the Mayor and the Director of Human Resources on issues and problems concerning personnel administration.
