November 2023 – Lottery for Temporary Surfboard Lockers

Dive Oahu Inc., the City and County of Honolulu’s beach services concessionaire at Kuhio Beach, is offering free surfboard locker use to seniors and individuals with disabilities who rented a City surfboard locker and were displaced during the October 17, 2021, surfboard locker fire.  These lockers will be located on Kuhio Beach, adjacent to Dive Oahu Inc.’s beach stand. There will be 58 lockers available, which will be assigned via a lottery system.

The lottery sign up period ended on November 21, 2023.  Qualifying lottery participants were given a “Lottery ID” number via email and will automatically be entered into the lottery.

The lottery will take place at the Ala Wai Golf Course Clubhouse on December 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.  Lottery participants are not required to attend the lottery and will be provided the same chance whether in-person or not.  Lottery results will be posted on this web page.
