Position Information
This position serves as an accountant in the Revenue and Customer Accounting Section, Finance Division. This position performs professional accounting work in the maintenance of accounting records required in the control of fiscal operations; prepares financial and statistical reports associated with water consumption and billings; conducts analysis of statistical and financial data and related reports; reviews, develops and implements accounting procedures and performs other related duties. Position works independently in accordance with principles, practices and standards of governmental accounting; promotes timely, efficient and effective customer accounting operations; and maintains effective working relationships with section staff, other divisions and BWS employees and external customers, organizations and agencies
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in accounting and two years of professional work experience in accounting.
