Data Processing Systems Analyst I

Temporary—Non Civil Service

 

As an Information System Security Analyst, this position assists in the day-to-day administration of cybersecurity tools, applications and services. This position assists in providing first-level cybersecurity monitoring, analysis and response. Accordingly, this position will keep abreast of cybersecurity threats to the Board and will propose operational and tactical changes that improve the Board’s cybersecurity posture.

 

Assist in monitoring cybersecurity events generated daily by cybersecurity tools, applications, systems and services. and analysis and correlation of events and logs from multiple sources to identify potential cybersecurity incidents. Assist in the investigation and analysis of cybersecurity events and documentation of cybersecurity incidents pursuant to Board policies and procedures.

 

Minimum Qualification Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in computer science, public or business administration, accounting, mathematics or a related field and one year of experience in the analysis of operating practices, methods and procedures, some of which shall have involved the conduct of feasibility studies and the analysis and design of systems for the electronic processing of data.
